Great product that solved my problem. Thanks.
I am very happy with your product. I will not, now, have to do a costly repair to my bathtub for many years. I have 2 suggestions, however. I think there should have been some installation instructions included for those individuals that do not have any plumbing experience as I put caulking on the seal to ensure that it will be watertight. I also think that the metal cover should be made of a plastic material to avoid corrosion and to prevent any new rust from forming around the new cover. Robert
The big overflow gasket and cover worked perfectly and looks great. Fast shipping.
I had a same issue as MIchael Wojciak. I had a single hole drain pipe like the second picture from the top. Because the overflow plate is thicker, the screw is short. The screw, in case other people have the same problem, is 1/4"-20 2" Oval-head stainless steel screw. I drove around hardware store to hardware store, spending hours to find it, end up having to order a 15 pack. Even after all that, the overflow cover does not fit flush up against the tub, due to design error. It's a great idea, but the product itself needs tweaking. Maybe include a 2-1/4" long or 2-1/2" bolt, instead of 2", and the plate should be flush against the overflow cover.
